Housegroups are an intimate way of expressing our church life. These are groups of around ten to fifteen people who meet in homes each week to work out God’s purposes for us at Gateway Baptist Church.

In early 2010 we restructured the groups.  Throughout the month of April, we took the opportunity to meet together at the Station Road site to renew our focus of the purpose and function of housegroups.  Renamed Reachout Groups to reflect a core purpose, the groups are now meeting in their own locations.  Joining one of these groups is the best way to become integrated into the life and work of the Church.

Image Children - Under 5's

Looking after the under 5s is very important. Learning through fun is the key and with Fish and Bricks midweek and Packers on Sundays there is plenty of opportunity to get the little ones involved. Son Beams toddler group provides an opportunity for free play and interaction with other toddlers.

ImageChildren - Primary

Primary age children are full of energy and have brains like sponges. There are opportunities at Gateway for children to learn about God whilst having fun. On Sundays Children’s Creative Worship gives children the opportunity to praise God through craft and Trekkers provides a great place to learn about God’s word.  Activate! is a club where children can make friends and learn new things in the school holidays.
